Hey everyone who took PrepCAT 10
How was it for you guys?
As far as i can remember, everyone at the exam center looked shocked out of their wits when they read the paper had 150 questions
'was really quite funny :)
Initially i too was a lilttle unnerved but i think the difficulty level of the questions was not that high and that put me at ease.
Also the DI section had verbal logic & boy was i thrilled to see that :D
Anyways, what did you think of the pattern? Were you baffled or were you glad that the questions were relatively easy?
What do you think will be the cut-offs & do you think you'll make it?
Eager to know mates
Cheers

So Nisha,
If PrepCAT 10, with 150 Q's had shocked you, what can you say about PrepCAT 11 with 165 Q's!!
This thread that you have opened has a tendency to get outdated very soon...Since, all of you would take at least 1 day to analyse a particular PrepCAT for yourself, the discussion can only begin two days later! So, by the time you open a discussion on PrepCAT 10...you find PrepCAT 11 on your head!
I'm sure by the time we start discussing 11, PrepCAT 12 will be on its way. :)
So, I have 2 suggestions:
1. Along with discussing PrepCATs, let us discuss specific questions!
So, in case you are not satisfied with any answer / method, In case you have a better method for any question / you want to seek a better method for any answer let us start discussing them..
For example, it could be any question from any of past 11 PrepCAT's...Just make sure when you raise a query, make reference to the PrepCAT and also its question number!
2. I also believe that one of the important knacks that you need to develop is to predict cut-off's during the paper (as this helps you to figure out if you have done enough in the section and should you move on to the next section).
So, what I want you to do is to just send in your prediction of the cut-off's for a particular paper that you have solved!
You need to predict sectional cut-off's and also overall cut-off's! If any of these cut-off's come in the range +1 or -1 of the actual cut-off's you earn 5 points (and everyone who predicts in this range gets the points).
Person reaching 50 points first, gets a special prize!
So, what are your predictions of cut-off's for PrepCAT 11?? The deadline for peredictions is before we give you the scores...
Pour in your answers ...
Regards,
Manish sir

Hi Sir
U seem to have taken off after KBC. We need to call our contest "Kaun banega 50pointpati":D
Corny jokes aside, i think its an awesome idea. Why not start a seperate thread for Prep11 discussion to predict cut-offs & discuss the paper?
Anyway, here's my prediction for the likely cut-offs for Prep11
Math- 18
DI-22
English-20
As for the paper analysis, will wait for Sir to start the thread & will begin jabbering there.
Cheers

In my opinion the cut-offs could be:
Maths - 17
DI - 21
English - 22
