Default CET 2007 Results Out

Hi,

The CET results are out. Check out the DTE site. The URL is:
http://www.dte.org.in/mba2007/MBASearchMerit2007.asp
but it is presently overloaded. I hope it works for you. Please report your successes here

Alternatively, you can also try to enter the results page from the MBA main page at: http://www.dte.org.in/mba/

Good Luck
Ajeet

Congrats Anupam! You are tentalisingly close to getting Bajaj, though not safe! I believe anyone with 165 or more is a safe bet for Jamnalal Bajaj. It must be releiving that you have pocketted TISS!

As regards your question of when are the ranks going to be put up? I really do not know! This is the first time that DTE has done such a thing - i.e. putting the overall score without the ranks! Maybe, by Friday we should know about our ranks as well.

Infact, this is the first time that DTE has been so secretive about the entire process! For example till last year the CET prospectus used to display each and every date for the next course of action. This year, the students are still wondering - what next?

I guess the next step is to fill the "Online Option Form" that requires you to fill the preferences of 15 colleges that you intend to seek admission!

For the benefit of the students, I will post this as well in a different thread.

Regards,

Manish sir

Thumbs up Online Option Form

Hi,

Everyone will have his own set of reasoning as to why he should select a particular college over others. However if you have none, here is a list of 15 colleges (in that order) that you could fill in your "Online Option Form":

1. MB303 - Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies

2. MB311 - Sydenham Institute of Management Studies (MMS Programme)

3. MB304 - K. J. Somaiya College of Management Studies

4. MB308 - Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development

5. MB338 - Sydenham Institute of Management Studies (PGDBM Programme)

6. MB313 - N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies

7. MB310 - S.I.E.S. College of Management Studies

8. MB302 - Chetana's Institute of Management & Research

9. MB307 - MET's institute of Management, Mumbai

10. MB314 - Indian Education Society's Management College

11. MB305 - Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management

12. MB309 - Rizvi Institute of Management Studies

13. MB312 - Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management

14. MB321 - Thakur Institute of Management Studies

15. MB337 - St. Xavier Institute of Management Studies

Though it does not make any sense to compromise on any institute below preference 10 (A PG from a better institute is worth more), if you are desperate enough to do your MBA this year itself, you may include some of the collges that I have missed out on!

NOTE: Once you submit the "Option Form" online, it is mandatory to confirm your submitted form at the ARC (the place where you had filled your CET form in February). Without this physical confirmation, your "Option Form" will not be considered for the process of allotment of colleges.

Regards,

Manish Sir

Hi Kumar,

At 120, you may not get any good college in Mumbai university! I guess you should seriously look forward to applying to and seeking admission into PGDBA of a good college (top 10 collges menstioned in the list)!

Regards,

Manish Sir
